You can't remember if you have 2 or 3 at your house?

The grass grew over them and he can't find where they are now.

You did see that it rotates 270 degrees, right? Did that tell you anything?

Yeah... Motors will get bad within 2 years, just like Speakercraft's TIME speakers...

How did you know?

Apparently my Harmony remote doesn't work thru grass. :-)

I had a client ask for price on this too. Could you imagine how terrible the res would look in a standard backyard if viewed from less than like 200 ft away. It reminds me of the old vegas signs,,,like I would have to screw bulbs in and out of the pixels (I know its LED, just making a point). So stupid. This kind of stuff just screams prototype company looking to get bought out for their facilities for a future product development that may have commercial potential.

Is it LED pixels (i.e. each pixel is a multicolor LED)? I thought they were just LCD with LED back/edge lighting like LED TVs.

I got a call from a client about this TV today. Found some on-line references to price showing $500EUR which means about $680kUS + installation.

Does anyone know if this is accurate?  The client has this kind of money, but don't know if he'd really spend that much for the TV.

I have seen $650k and $685k at different sites/articles. I used the contact form asking for pricing weeks ago and never got a response. Today i went back to look and see if they updated their contact page...they have not. But...then i decided to click the link titled "Imprint" at the bottom of the page and found this...

I guess the new cool web design fad is to make locating contact info an adventure. Another site last week had the contact email/phone number on the about page. Contact page was just the mailing address. Guy got all bent out of shape when i used his blog/comments to get his attention. He was offended that i assumed Contact Us was the page i could find information that would allow me to Contact Them.

Thanks Stamp...  the client is impulsive so I've already called him back and told him it was at least $650k.  He yelled the f-word and them told me to let him know when the price comes down to $200k.

I wonder if thats the installed price...and what "installed" entails. I think they need to bring it down to the $200-300k range if they want to move them.

I wonder how many have actually been manufactured and installed?  I'm guessing this is something that gets built to order... can't imagine they have a warehouse full of them waiting to ship.

To be clear i was referring to another manufacturer in the quoted text not the C Seed site. The C Seed site just never responded to me.

Oh - OK, didn't catch that. Still, not a great image for a premium product though is it? Maybe they've already got a great market through landscapers ;) ...

Paid in full 2-3 months prior to raw materials start to get on conveyor belt.  I remember Runco used to have a model that required such payment before head of productions spreaded out the the blue-print.
