With the ability to control a DBX Zone pro product with a URC KP4000, it seems to me that this could be an alternative product to use in a residential install.

We use the DBX 640 all the time in our commercial installs. I love the features it has like Auto Gain Control, Cross Overs, Limiters, and In-Out EQ.

And using a Crown Amp like the XTI or XLS line on a pair of decent In-walls sounds like a winner.

Thoughts?

I use the DBX 640 almost exclusively for outdoor audio systems paired with Crown CDi's and it creates one incredible system, Paired with a RTI U2 remote and prepair for the word of mouth :)

Ive never used them for interior systems, actually havent even used 70v inside. not sure it makes sense unless you have some crazy ass long hallways and HUGE rooms

keep in mind the dbx does not have to be used with 70v amps
I love supporting product that supports me!

I was thinking 8 ohm all day for interiors. But 70 v for out door is a great solution.
