We have the Bosch cordless and the Harbor freight corded and the harbor freight $30 tool gets used 90% of the time. ACtually can't remember the last time we used the cordless bosch.

Thanks.
I see the harbor freight, but i have all makita and 3 chargers with 6 batteries already....other chargers i have all next to each other with the makitas are dremel, vhf radio and cordless nailer....i dont want to add another charger battery combo...plus murphys law says when i need the tool to work the makita will, the harbor freight, you never know. Mr. Murphy is looking over my shoulder every day.

For < $200 get a Synology from Amazon Warehouse Deals. Done and done.

HiFi House just tweeted the 65VT50 for $2299. That's pretty sick.

lol! i hate mr. murphy!

I have a cheap corded rockwell one from lowes that has been thrown around, beat up thrown off ladders and dragged threw mud (dont ask) and the thing is a champ! I actually dont use it much though, it seems that anytime it gets pulled out it gets abused pretty bad :)

Just added that to my cart. I saw that earlier and it on $50 bucks more. The savings are on the HDDs. I can grab a couple 3TB and put them in raid.

@ Hasbeen,
I have said that about every TV i have seen since my last Elite encounter. I dont know if these things need off board scalers or what. I am getting a plasma at whatever the cost.

Sammy or Panasonic.

Oh I agree, I'm not a harbor freight tool user but after using the Bosch and getting very sick of dead batteries, it was worth $30 to try it and I've been pretty impressed. Hell, you could buy two and have a back up and still save $30.

We don't use them a lot but LOVE it when we do. However they burn through batteries quick so I suggest the corded. We use them for cutting boxes in stucco, cabinets and various odd spaces.

I ordered the makita today. Got it because i have 2 chargers going with a bunch of batteries, so i could run the thing all day long if i had to. I dont expect to use it a lot but my belief is to use the right tool for the job. Even if i only use it once or twice a year, its worth it.
I also ordered a nice assortment of blades.
I have a small project coming that involves plaster and lath....I actually cant wait to get it and use it, how sick is that, lol

Just make sure before you cut into the lathe & plaster you take your utility knife with a SHARP blade and score the plaster before you take the oscillating tool to it. do a few passes of the utility knife and try and cut a V into the plaster. This will greatly minimize any chance of cracking from the "shock" of the tool. Also make sure you go SLOW. Good Luck! :)

TV check.

I now can stop looking at them for a few years.

I should mention that I could care less about TV's but my wife has a room for her everyday usage that never gets used because she is always using my room because it has a TV.

Now its just me and the two year old watching Dora in peace.

Walmart has even running an ad all week claiming they will have three items in stock guaranteed! A TV an iPad and a bd player. I've seen the ad 100 times.

Today at Facebook I've seen a dozen complaints about the TV being sold out everywhere lol.

I braved the store traffic today.  (actually wasn't bad for the stores I went in).  I went and picked up VetoPro Pacs for my techs Xmas presents. Turns out I have a dealer 1.2 miles from my home. That was nice.  I wanted to pick up the LT for me, I think it's a nice case for my laptop and sales stuff, but they didn't have one in stock.

Stopped by Sears and HomeDepot too.  Didn't have any trouble getting in and out, just did some shopping for my techs.

I went to Young supply because they're right by my house.

But Tech Tool Supply in pymouth has them

and so does Marsh Power tools in Livonia.
