Good day

I am looking for people with positive results on an 8 channel DVR with HDMI out that I can plug into a Crestron DM. Crestron control would be nice too, RS232 would be preferred but would take IR

Thanks in advance
Thanks

I use the DW products here with crestron.  8 channels, hdmi output, ir or rs-232 support, and iDevice/Android support as well.

The WirePath (Snap) DVRs are my first choice for residential Crestron systems, because of their integration-friendly features. They're also priced right, and have excellent service. I've worked on many projects that utilized them with great results.

Digital Watchdog has been much more troublesome.

The main reason that we chose DW over snapav is the Android/iDevices support and also the MAC/Windows compatibility.  I have not had to replace any of the DW's that are installed currently, and we still spec them in because of the software compatibility.

Which balun are you going to use?  If its not crestron, I would recommend the Zektor Solocat HDbase T Balun.

SnapAV extenders work with our DVRs. We will launch HDBaseT extenders very soon.
