This year a customer who got a 6 figure inheritance bought a home from a current customer. We put in a brand new system. Upon arrival of discovery phase, there were 2 strippers in master bedroom doing coke on the night stand. He said, "dont mind them, they are just partying". It was 8:15 in the am. I told him straight up that I did not judge him but did not feel comfortable working in this environment. He was nice and said it wouldnt happen again. All I could think about was a drug raid while we were doing an install.

On another job years ago I was installing a whole house audio system and trying to get the vcr to display a picture. I could not get picture but was evidently sending audio to the entire house of a porn movie. The house was full of sub contractors and one was nice enough to come and tell me what was going on. I was embarrased. I then asked the wife if she had any vcr tapes around I could test. She said, "isnt there one in there?" I said yes but it is not working. Straight up lied. She went over and pulled it out and called her husband in there and bitched him out. It was the worst day at the time but really funny now.
