There maybe a very good reason why the descriptions keep changing. But cheap Chinese manufactures never lie. But just keep using it, you'll be fine.
Oh, just because you put together a torture test in your shop, doesn't mean you will get the same results in the field everytime.
And we'll see if the failure rate holds up on these over the long term and quanity.
LOL. Oh c'mon.
The first 4x4 SnapAV HDMI matrix we used had 2 faulty outputs.
In the past year we have had FOUR Pioneer Elite receivers fail. We no longer sell the line.
You can't be delusional enough to think that the name on the box really makes such a significant difference. If we without second thought pan Monoprice just for being Monoprice, then on the flipside you're saying we should also be able to take a name brand (you choose which) and be able to say that their products are so amazing they NEVER fail and we can, without losing a wink of sleep, know that they will work perfectly in EVERY installation they are installed in, the first time and every time until they are obsolete and replaced far down the line. That's insanity.
You don't want to use Monoprice, fine, don't. There are other integrator (large and successful ones) that use them and publicly admit to doing so. To each their own. The new SnapAV piece isn't much more money anyways, and there's a brand that started out peddling cheap Chinese crap and now gives everyone warm fuzzies.
