Zohan, how do you keep the stuff from falling out of the bins? I don't expect you to be driving like an idiot but just the G-force of turning the corners should have some impact as to what stays intact and what goes flying around the trailer.
You can't fix stupid

The bins have a slight angle down and in....even so, if i forget im driving with the trailer for a minute and take a quick turn or hit a bump a couple of cat6 cables or an outlet cover mit bounce out, but for the most part its not a problem

It's been a few years. Are you still using this same trailer?

No I sold it and bought a utility truck. Chevy express with a 10' utility box. Best investment / tool I have in the company.
It is well organized also :)

Lol. When I saw your trailer years ago in this thread I promised myself I would get a trailer and deck it out when I could

Was the trailer that much of a pain or is the Chevy with the box just that much better?

Both.
Trailer was nice, and I like having everything I need or could potentially need, but going over to the yard where it was, hooking it up, driving around, etc then bringing back to the yard and unhooking was a chore. The only good part was actually working out of it.

Sold it for about the same price I bought a 2004 chevy express 10' utility so it was a no brainer. The new has has the 6.0 engine and it kicks ass. Working out of it is nothing short of phenomenal.
I work by myself so I have to be as efficient as possible. I have everything I need and then some. Other trades know to come find me on a jobsite when even they dont have what they're supposed to, chances are I will have it. This pays big dividends when I need a favor from one of them.
I can't say enough about a utility truck. Just awesome.

Where did you get the utility truck? When i google image "utility truck" i see a lot of different options for the utility box layout. What does yours look like?

Same exact model as Brendons first truck was.
Here's a pic I just pulled off the net, not mine but same model.

They are called "cutaway vans" with a "utility body" my first van was one that unfortunately had to be sold due to the economy :( otherwise I would have kept it until now when I'm dealing with this BS ordinance crap.

Funny this thread came back up, don't know if it's a coincidence but I'm going to HAVE to go back to a small trailer (I can have one of those as long as it isn't registered commercially, go figure)

Looks great. The ones i was seeing had an open center and i kept thinking..."i could never make that work".

I would love one of these so i could pack all my gear and travel with it. No more "work arounds" like trying to use a router bit with my battery drill :). I own 13 socket sets because i end up buying one within 24 hours of telling myself "i wont need them today". I have half a dozen fish tapes and too many 4' ladders for the same reason.

What if you keep your van but put a comcast logo on the side of it. Park it on the corner at night and put an orange cone at either end of it. I wonder how long you could get away with that :).
