Rhapsody was buggy as SH$t for me on 3 different smartphones and 2 different computers. So bad that even though it's built into my Control4 system I still cancelled the account and just went without. It was downright unusable. I read a LOT of angry people posting on the Rhapsody forums about problems that had been going on unaddressed for years.

I tried Spotify premium for a month, through a Nuvo music server. Cancelled it, not impressed. Selection sucked, and had problems with simultaneous PC and music server use. I'd try to create playlists on the PC and it conflicted with the server. PC has been locking up since. Have to reload the W7 OS.

MOG and Songza. By a long shot... OTOH I abhor bloated iTunes (I keep one old computer around just for it, won't put it on any important PC). So maybe our priorities/tastes are too different ;) Thanks for turning me onto Songza. Pretty cool. I could see where a client would really like this too. Why am I so lazy to explore these different music options that Sonos has to offer? Lewis and Clark pulled a canoe across the united states and I'm to lazy to click a button. I'm ashamed of myself.

Interesting, I'm surprised no one has mentioned Slacker. I like their selection better, especially in the electronic stuff. And I have the paid account ($4/month billed to my phone), which lets me cache stations on the phone. This is AWESOME, because it always seem that I end up sitting building a rack somewhere *just* out of wifi and cell signal. I spent the last 3 days in exactly that situation, and it was awesome to have music all day (12 hr work days ugh). By not using data, I also save the battery a TON - I played music for 11.5 hrs yesterday, and got home at 10pm with 52% battery left.

I love Spotify, though I have only used it on my computer. I find the selection amazing, even giving the obvious absence of Beatles and Who titles. I searched for years for Llouis LLach album "Si Canto Triste" and it's there. Israeli music is not great but it does have some. If it lacks some of the Pink Floyd catalog it still has a great deal of it. People hate paying for anything and it is not the least expensive of subscriptions. Still, when I look at play lists that include Peter Green, Bob Dylan, 30 Seconds to Mars, Cannonball Adderley, Nancy Wilson, Sarah Vaughan, and Tom Rush I cannot complain overmuch about what is missing.

I came into this game for the action, the excitement. Go anywhere, travel light, get in, get out, wherever there's AV trouble, a man alone. |

I think the Soma stations are available via Tunein.
I haven't explored SiriusXM's online selection yet. I hear of stations advertised that I can't access via satellite.
Does Rhapsody offer artists and titles on demand?
