I have a customer who has a speaker rough in for outdoor spa speakers in a stone wall. The cut out is 4" wide by 8" high. This speaker will be part of an outdoor 70 volt back ground system. The company doing it went under and now I need to find a speaker that will fit the cut out. Anyone know of one. And yes I know it's small and the quality won't be great. but it will only be 2 of over 20 outdoor in ground and hanging outdoor speakers on this job.

Why does it have to be Stainless? I personally don't know of any that are stainless but there are plenty of moisture rated speakers that could fit the bill.

The speakers the other company was going to put in were stainless and the TV is a Stainless SunBright. But it really could be any outside speakers that will fit the cut out.

Since you need something flush mount, maybe Leon could make the grill, and use any speaker behind it. Brushed aluminum may match stainless pretty close.
Even though the original company went out of business, you may still be able to find one or a couple of those speakers.

We've had stainless and other metal grilles made locally (laser cut).

You said the original installer was planning to install some SS speakers? Find out what they were and use them. :)

This is one of those jobs that have been going on for a while ( over 5 years since the original prewire) no one remembers what speakers were planned when the stone was cut.

Can the stone be cut more? James has another off the shelf piece that would be perfect but I caution ordering anything from them.....but I digress [Link: jamesloudspeaker.com]
