I have 2 MC3's installed at different jobs and both are having the same problem connecting to the Crestron DNS Service.

I have gone to MyCrestron.com and created the DNS services then go into the Setup of the processor (processors ip address/setup) go to MyCrestron Dynamic DNS and input the corresponding DNS information for that project but never get a connection to the DNS Service.

The processor's msg log is showing "Error: splusmanagerapp.exe # 10:42:26 8-03-2012 #module S-3.20.10:S2 : Crestron_Name_Resolution_Engine_v1_0_3 at line 1112: TCP Client. Unable to resolve name ipcheck.mycrestron.com"

What am I missing to setup the Dynamic DNS for these processors?

TIA

Can you ping the router and Crestron.com from the mc3 setup page? Is your modem bridged to the router you're using so that the router is receiving an external IP on its wan port? Is the mc3 set up with static ip or dhcp? If static, did you enter in the DNS servers info?

I've seen the DDNS successfully register in double-NAT situations and without any ports being forwarded to the processor so it sounds like an Ethernet config issue to me.
