I just saw where china is about to be hit with two typhoons at the same time. If it is as bad as some reports are suggesting, this may present problems for us too. [Link: asiaone.com]

It's been a weird year for weather. Here in Edmonton, Alberta we've had a few tornado warnings, been pelted by hail (dime-size), and more rain than we've seen in a very long time. The city's drainage system couldn't keep up.
My family in Hong Kong just escaped the typhoon since they went to Singapore for a trip. Craziness.
