Anyone use these? Or remember the name? You zip tie your wire to the ring then snap the plate in place. You can stick your "WARNING" sticker on top and retrieve your cable after drywall?

Nope... that was my first thought too. Its a metal JBOX "cover plate" that you use to cap/secure your box before sheet rock. They advertised it with these orange warning stickers. It was available at AVAD i think.

This isn't them but they might work. Thanks.

The product has a ring on the front that folds flat with the plate. You apply your warning sticker or business card sticker over it so that no one can get at the ring and remove it. The idea is that the sheetrock guys cant touch your wires and it forces them to rotozip around the box. I saw them at all net and then avad but now i cant find them anywhere.

I remember those as well. I remember seeing them at allnet/avad as well. I think they were sourced from a local company (chicago area).

I have a (SH^t)boat load of the steel 1G and 2G metal protection rings that go into the boxes to protect the wires from crazed drywallers with 2" zip bits.
I cannot remember who makes them.
They are a pain sometimes because of the variances in the different electrical boxes.
I may be schizophrenic, but at least I have each other.

I'm pretty sure that LV Wraps is no longer around as a company, but Raco is manufacturing the product under license.

I tried contacting them directly late last year and e-mail either bounced or went un-answered. Phone number wasn't good either. I ended up purchasing the Raco product from my local electrical disty.
