Hi goldenzrule,
Yes, the iPad app now supports full landscape mode! All in-wall installed iPad users will be pleased with this update.
Also glad you noticed the speed has been improved!
For more details on the updates check out our support tab and this link:
[Link: snapav.com]Other updates:
•Added ability to select a default DVR (app can automatically launch to the specified DVR, in the past the app opened to the Device List)
•Added ability to select a default split-window view (1-4-9-16 options, in the past it only opened to 4)
•Added ability to select number of cameras connected to DVR (when swiping through cameras no longer will unused windows be displayed)
•Enabled swipe gesture for 4-camera split window view (go from cameras 1-4 to 5-8 and so on)
•Search by Event now displays page numbers and returns to last viewed page (makes it much easier to search and watch recorded video)
•Error messages are now displayed in plain English rather than error codes (no brainer, we should have had this on first release....)
•App defaults to RECORD stream for the best picture quality at initial setup (in the past the default was EXTRA to compensate for bandwith restricted networks but feedback from dealers/users asked for RECORD to show of the great picture quality of our DVRs)
•iPad3 pinch jesture bug fixed
iPod/iPhone and Android have been updated with all of these features too but it is the iPad that fully supports all menus in landscape mode. Mac application will be debuted at CEDIA and launched thereafter.
Thanks for the support!
