I'm guessing this thread will get a chorus of crickets, but here goes.

Denon AVR 3313 integrating with a URC MX-980

All I can get to work (in "Browse" mode, BTW) is up, down, left, right, exit (or return) and enter.

These codes are from the Main 3312 (or 33111) URC IRDB code set.

The "Browse" and "Remote" mode buttons (these are supposed to take the iPod navigation from "on screen" to "on the iPod") from the IPOD URC IRDB do not do anything. Actually nothing from that code set does anything.

Is that all there is (up, down, left, right, exit/return and enter.)?

On another note:

I'm guessing there still is not a discrete Pandora command anywhere?

Can you now at least assign Pandora stations to presets (A-1 ~ G-8)?

So no one is integrating Pandora (or iPods) into these XX13 receiver they are installing?

According to the AVR3313 IR code sheet, the command named "RCKSK0410765" is the Pandora discrete code. There's a tool on RC somewhere that converts Denon Sharp RC and Kaseikyo codes to hex data.

I don't what most people are doing for ipods, but the addition of Airplay has made that more of a legacy ipod support thing.

Thanks.

If anyone has the ability to convert that to hex (Pronto format so I can import it to URC with the Universal Browser), I'd appreciate it. I've never had any luck with the make hex tools and am baffled that Denon continues to publish those codes instead of the more normal hex that we all need. Matt has a spread sheet but it has fallen behind and is not up to date (AFAIK).

Hopefully they work. The tools are on the Denon CI portal. I'm assuming they do or your reply would have been "thanks for nothing!" :-)

I have not had a chance to try them,

I've already boxed up the 3313 and remotes, but I'll take these codes on site when I do the installation in a week. I was just trying to pre program as much as possible in the shop in preparation for the installation.

What would be really cool if Denon would make it so a preset (A-1~ G-8) could land on a Pandora station. They do it with Sirius and HD Radio (maybe Internet Radio?) but last years models could not do it for Pandora...not sure about XX13?
