Just read this  [Link: news.cnet.com];

Wish it would apply to my 3G.

Is that why they switched to the share everything plan? I am switching to that plan tomorrow when my new phone arrives.

The tethering on all phones will be a big help for us.

Won't apply to AT&T - %^*$itall!

Has something to do with FCC agreement when Verizon bought a certain wireless spectrum.

This has nothing to do with VZW charging for tethering. it has to do with them removing tethering apps from the android market. that was illegal. they have to allow the apps that allow for free tethering on the market. this doesnt make them ok to use. if you want to tether legally on VZW, you still have to pay.
I love supporting product that supports me!
