So it was announced earlier today that the AppleTV is getting Hulu Plus. It sucks for Hulu that it appears to only be available by signing up through iTunes. Does that means that Apple will get 30% of the monthly fee or do you think they got a deal like Netflix has?

Does anyone have Hulu? What's it good at? What's it lacking? Is it good enough to tell clients about?

I think it has more recent TV programming. Not sure but I'm being signed up for it as I type this. Free 1 week trial. Give it a shot for a week and then recommend or not based on that.

Hulu Plus is missing many of the TV shows that are available through the Hulu.com website. For example, Celebrity Apprentice, America's Got Talent, Pawn Stars, and so on are "web only"

I have Hulu Plus for some fox shows but I have to turn it off and on because the $7.99 per month fee is not worth it.

Well that sucks. A media center PC looks like better option in a lot of ways except the interface won't be as nice.

I'm going back to Media Center after about 5 years. TWC interface sucks too bad and you get much more Hulu content via the PC. Realizing so many other benefits, too, with 4-stream USB Ceton tuner.
