Ok, I need to know how they pull that off. What system automates the fireworks? It was pretty impressive, I know someone on here has done something in productions in the past.

There are several different ways of doing it...

Here's an example:

When we do our fireworks show, we have a manual controller and a musical score with trigger cues. More advanced controllers automate the process. What you saw tonight was most certainly a computer controlled firing system.

The sheer complexity of what they pulled off tonight, between the numerous live sound systems, the camera shots, the routing, the CG, the LED signs in the stands, all tied to a pyromusical... Phenomenal...

I thought the ending with music from Pink Floyd was a great choice of music! Overall I was very impressed with the how it was done, must have been amazing being there.

A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.
