I have a 2x2 video wall with Samsung ME46A displays, mounted in the portrait orientation. The video wall matrix configuration is straight forward, but how do I get video content in the portrait orientation? I understand that the aspect ratio is different, but it’s the orientation that is throwing me off.
Everything I feed into the displays comes out 90 degrees off axis. Support stated that the video had to be developed that would be sideways in the traditional landscape mode. There must be a computer video card/driver and software to accomplish this orientation??

i am currently working on a few similar projects as well . There are a couple of ways you can have it accomplished . Ideally your original video content would have to be created / shot in a portrait mode as well , Or you can edit your content via quicktime , iMovie etc. by rotating the image clockwise or counterclockwise than " trimming " it to fit provided window . Bottom line is that your image needs to be edited , then played rotated ( on its side ) , BTW we are using Bright Sign players with our video walls .
