Has anybody used a kindle fire with crestron or rti . It's runs a version of the droid os . I want to use it with rti instead of the iPad . It's half the price of an iPad and I like the that is a little smaller .

I dont think RTI is compatible with Amazon, which means it needs to be hacked to full Android to work on the fire. check out my previous post about the Fire in wall dock.

They did released an Amazon version of RTI - i think a couple weeks ago. It should be in Amazon app store by now.

Did you try side loading it? Download the file to your computer, then plug the fire into the computer, and drag it to a folder on the fire such as RTI folder or Apps folder. Then go into the app settings, and make sure you have check to install apps from unknown parties. Then use RS file manager to install the app on the fire. Another reason why I dislike android and amazon.
