Hello all,

I have an Home Cinema installation that features an RFX9600, a Tsu9400 and of course a dedicated wi fi network.

What i need to do now is the automation of dimmered lights. At the present moment i have an helvar dimmer, controlled by RFX9600 Rs232 (through a proper made module). By rs 232 I can dim between 4 different lights scene.

Now, I need to set up all the automation in a way that, the serial command of lights scene changing is given when a particular video files ends its playing. In this respect i studied the possibility to use particular encoded "black" audio files, that depending on the tones they have inside, trough an Arduino circuit connected at RCA stereo outputs of blu ray player, give the needed command to RFX.

My question is now, is there a possibility to send comand to rfx (to use rs323 connections) by arduino, by network itself or something similar?

Thank you for your help and kind regards,

FKB

It sounds (pun intended) like this is the wrong forum for this.
1. Pronto is dead
2. There is a dedicated pronto forum
3. This seems more of DIY project than a CI one

With all that said, I wish you luck.
