Title says it all, I need two *attractive* 70v pendant speakers for a residential outdoor speaker system. JBL control looks to industrial and just to big.

You could use transformers on the Sonance NACSound speakers. Not Cheap.

Haha I would if this was indoors but it's for a open air spa cover and there's no where to mount traditional speakers that wouldnt take from the architecture. They have a chandelier in the middle above the spa and two pendant speakers on either side of the light fixture would be ideal.

Ona side note I look at the nacsound as more art then speakers. (I know that's the point!)

They are quite attractive speakers. I have never installed them, but I understand there is a version that is intended to be used outside.

I second Soundtube, they have a lot of different sizes and the shape is very organic looking. They also have a couple of subwoofers too if you want to go that route.

I have a couple of Tannoy units (similar to Soundtube) I'm going to try out soon, but they have more of a fixed cylinder design to match with commercial installations. Sound good though.

i am using these in white outside hanging from the pool cage above the pool... they work and sound good. only modification i made for weather purposes was some 100% silicon inside the speaker where the wire exits the speaker.

James loudspeaker 31ODS70 or 62ODS70. Remove the ground spike and hang them however you need.
