Just spoke to my rep, yesterday evneing, and Marantz will be selling AVR's into Future Shop as a part of their new business model..There go the margins again...Sheesh

Didn't D&M learn that they don't sell enough Denon's at FS to NOT place Marantz in that market?

These are CI receivers yet the big box store is selling them... Its only a matter of time when we stop selling everything but Crestron and charge T&M for installs.

Don't they sell things for full msrp? Or at least display them with msrp tags?
I know most people don't try to haggle at those kind of places.

Sticker prices are usually retail, every time a flyer drops(weekly) you have to worry about what sale is going to be compromised.
In my market everybody haggles everywhere, about the only person who is safe is the pharmacist lol

On most probably, I have heard of some situations were people are paying something stupid. From what my family spends on health care out of pocket im not even going to question you lol

It was last year that Brock Lesnar was calling our local hospital third world or something similar, he wasn't too happy about the experience anyways.
Getting back on topic, I have a friend who is an installer at our local futureshop and he has heard nothing about Marantz becoming available. There has been talk of control 4 training though.
