Hi Everyone

I just want to add to this thread that we found one Crosspoint 84 switcher with a power supply that is still available and is a plug-for-plug replacement we used on two broken switchers. Our original power supply was marked +/- 15volts at 1.3A on each.

A TDK-Lambda SCD601515 fulfills this need and has slightly higher current levels (2.2A, 1.8A), the same pins for the plugs, and has the same screw mounting pattern.

Just Google for SCD601515 and choose your vendor. We happen to have gone with www.alliedelec.com. At this time, digikey.com, newark.com, mouser.com all have this part.

Hi, new to this forum.
I have an Extron XPT 300 124 switch which appears to be dead. With mains connected, there is no sign of life, no lights lit.
The fuse on the switch mode PSU is good.
As the power supplies for these units appear to be the usual point of failure, I checked the DC supplies from the PSU to the first PCB. This is a five wire lead comprising two black wires on pins 5 and 4 of the PSU output connector, two green wires on pins 3 and 2 and one greyish wire on pin 1.
The two black wires appear to be connected and seem to the 0v line. Each of the two green wires measure +14.93v DC to the black wires. The grey wire measures -14.96v DC to the black wires.
This seems reasonable to me so I am presuming the PSU is not faulty.
Any thoughts on what else it could be? Does anyone have a circuit diagram or repair manual that could help me sort this out? Do I need to do something to "switch it on"?
Thanks

I have one thst shows it’s getting -2.9v on the -5v rail. I’m assuming two of those wires are the +12vdc and -12vdc rails two wires are the -5 and +5vdc rail and last would be the 3.3v rail.

Can anyone confirm this replacement power supply handles the 5vdc rails?
