OK guys, I have a customer requesting to be able to download video content from amazon. I did a research and my choices is ether go with a BluRay player that has the built in app or the Roku player. I'm leaning towards the Roku because the customer currently uses the PS3 as a BluRay player and also uses it for VUDU.
I have never used a ROKU before and I don't know if the current boxes allow for IR control since according to the manual the remote that comes with it is RF. I'm assuming that IP control is available since there are apps for iPhone and Android to control this unit. I found an .ir file over at the Crestron Group but I couldn't find any info regarding compatibility of IR with the new boxes.
Any ideas?

If your client has cable tv and your system provides cable cards you also have TiVo as an option for Amazon content.

The analog mini-jack is disabled when HDMI cable is plugged in.
