For those of you using GRI water sensors (the rectangular ones that attach to the floor or wall) how do you trim out the wire that is leading back into the wall?
After connecting the sensor to the wire, the wire needs to be able to slide back in the wall to remove the slack so it cant be tightly plastered around the wire before installation. Do you try to place the hole for the wire so it is behind by the sensor itself when mounted, or, have the painters return after installation and close the hole around the wire, or some other trick?
Thanks Robert

The sensor should be in an inconspicuous location, so the sensor, wire, and penetration can't be seen easily.
Would be nice if GRI, though, offered a trim box, with perforated sides or small slats (think finger channel/slotted wiring duct) to cover the sensor.
I wonder if the guys at Tru-Fig would have an answer.

Hey I like the idea of the round grommets. In fact I have a whole bag of those sitting in my van. Once painted they will blend in with the wall.
Good tip!!!
