I was looking for a TV for a client who wants to replace an antique Mits HDRPTV ins a space that's 59 1/2" wide between pocket doors. Mounting a flatscreen is no problem. The problem is, what model is available... or will be available when they are ready?

It looks like a 60" Samsung will fill the bill, even if it needs capacitors in a couple of months ([Link: remotecentral.com]). My distributor had a ready solution when I first called a couple of weeks ago, but that model is now in short supply as new models will be coming out.

Anybody know when the new ones come out?

Surprisingly, that fits right in with my client saying this really must be done by August 25....

The higher end models have been dropping closer between May-July and some have extended into August but you should be just fine. Of course the B&M's will have it first.

I hate the TV game! It's the reason that customers come to us and it's the most difficult to manage. Disty's start getting rid of stock now and won't replenish it until April/May. Sorta sucks!
