I saw the highlights and had to do a double take. WTF? I just HAD to record it, but haven't had a chance to watch it yet.

I actually set some time aside to watch this last night and stopped after about 15-minutes. That's about how long it took to become familiar with the concept and for the boredom to set in.

I'm sure the sport has its intricacies, but I could care less about them. What they're really promoting is the severity of the impacts of a good strike, and you can only watch that so many times with interest. In fact, about all you need to see is in the previews to get the picture.

I watched also and agree. I will give it another shot though. Maybe the house will add some drama. All that ego and personality combinations are bound to ignite. Its set up exactly like The Ultimate Fighter show.

I didn't know about the "house" because I had already deleted it. That does make it more interesting, and you're right, it's a total ripoff of The Ultimate Fighter. It's probably more interesting than the jousting, actually. Still, I can't go back. Other things are more worthy of my time...

Wow, this is irony. I just had dinner with my sis and bro in law. My bro in law just bought a 1963 Lincoln convertible, suicide doors and all. He bought it from a buddy of his who was down on his luck and needed money. The guy had just closed his restaurant and dumped all his money in some show about jousting. Discovery channel (or whoever it was) bought the idea. Paid for five episodes.... Then pulled the plug... He's now broke.

How many shows are there about jousting?
I'm Not an engineer, but I play one on TV.
My handle is Tweety but I have nothing to do with the organization of similar name. I just had a really big head as a child so folks called me tweety bird.
