If you are, message me back for a possible meet up and beer hoist, my treat. Wife and I have been on the Island for a week and I think I have taken her to all the places she wanted to see. It would be cool to meet a fellow installer from the forum over here. We leave for Oahu on thursday. We passed a place on the east coast called Papa, so I thought you may be close by. Give me a shout if you are within an hour or so of Keauhou Bay and I'll drive to you.

I live 10 minutes from Keahou Bay. If I get my van cleaned out and reorganized in time I'll be playing golf there later today.

You must think saying 'beer' will get me to jump. You would be correct!

When you finish your round, give me a call at the Sheraton 808-930-4900 Rm# 1232. We may go snorkeling early afternoon but should be back easy before you finish 18. Ask for Jeff.

What happens in Hawaii stays in Hawaii.

I'm really too old for extra curricular activites such as hookups!

I go to Hawaii, the last thing I need to do is ruin a perfectly good vacation by visiting some FBI guy...

I can see it now on Hawaii 5-0. "And next week, Big Papa gets more than he bargained for..." ;)

I used to live on Big Island a few years back. For having only been there 1 week, I'm sure there are lots more things to see, to do, or not to do, like just sitting your (literary figurative) big fat bald ass on a towel and watching some turtle swimming around the cove. Did you check out Hawi (pronounced Havi) or Palolo Valley? Are you guys into hiking? There is no shortage of nature to be explored on that isle. Check out Makalawena Beach, it is a pretty short and easy hike, worth a day trip for sure.

Eating at the Bamboo Restaurant and taking a hike at Palolo Valley is always a must everytime we go. I once went on a hike around the back side of Waipio Valley that was incredible. We had to hike through some farmers land outside of Waimea to get there but it was super cool!

There are also some really cool remains located in lava tubes not too far off hwy 19. Not sure what mile marker though. There is also another spot outside a golf course (possibly Waikoloa) where you can scurry under some super sharp lava rock and it will take you into a lava tube that contains more remains as well as some cool artifacts.
