Yes it will do 2 zones, variable Z2. No to power on input unless a more recent firmware has addressed this. Plays fine with RTI.

Just an FYI. There is no direct or preset tuning in z2. Only an up/down for presets. No way to anchor it in a macro either to get to a specific station. Limited 232 feedback, and no IP control that I am aware of.
