Yes, but when you get to that level, go to the D2V for 8499. Incredible. Is this for a client or yourself?

If you are going seperates with the AVM50, you should step up to the A2/A5 225 w/ch combo package. Or if you want it all, the P2/P5 at 325 w/ch. is insane.

if i was doing something other than in ceilings, albeit some of the best in ceiling speakers i have ever heard, i think anything over 125 is overkill.

what do you think about the MRX700? how do you think the sound compares to the higher range denon, onkyo, yammy? also, what is the retail?

MRX 700 is the best sounding AVR I have heard. Retail is $ 1999.00. Recently replaced an Integra 8.9 that had been in my rack for a few years. Was happy with the Integra, but I had to say WOW. It sounded so much better. Same thing when I replaced a 6.6 with a MRX 300.

As Greg said, some of the best sounding AVR product at their price points for sure. No need to move into the Statement pre-amp unless your client is a huge audiophile and in-ceiling speakers of any kind would negate it for me personally. The big difference between the two is solely in the audio section as the video processing is the same.

I would certainly agree with Greg on all his points. Anthem aint for everyone but it sure does rock! Integra has more bells and whistles in the low-end but Anthem has all the juice with more to spare.

Curious to see if the product holds up as well.

I am working with a dealer who sells Anthem, and I will install for his sales clients.
Coming from Integra roots, are there any gotchas I should beware of? How will the 500 receiver handle two zones, for instance. Does it turn on with an input command? Does it play well with URC?

There is no truth anymore. Only assertions. The internet world has no interest in truth, only vindication for preconceived assumptions. |
