I am building a whole house audio from scratch and would like to use the RTI keypads. Which systems would you recommend to control Sonos as one of the sources:

Russound
Nuvo
Niles
RTI
Other

All recommendations/comments are welcome.

There is a sonos driver, but its not free, and its not 100% right now.  AFAIK, you still have to run the Sonos Application on a Android/iOS/PC/MAC to Start playing anything.  The driver just allows you transport functions after you begin playing a playlist or individual albums.
Do or Do not, There is no Try.

Yep!

Altough I did just pick up two Logitech Squeezebox touches to start working these into the mix instead of Sonos or Denon. So far the only time I have is to come on RC and post! Priorities!

Like what was said above, You cant integrate sonos with RTI 100%. You can just have the user launch the sonos app select there song, playlist, THEN use RTI for basic transport functions..

The XP6, will run better with certain drivers since it has more horsepower. this matters when a driver polls long lists\playlist, etc.

If your doing RTI skip sonos and offer a 100% integrated solution with YOUR custom GUI. Do a VB !

If you want to send a source from the vortexbox to multiple zone outputs they are not in sync they are a little off. Just means it should really be used as a single source or in setups where the zones are not next to each other.
