Gman, Great job. looks good. Love when stuff works out. Do you think there will be any issues that the tv is gravity towards the screen over time? Picture problems? Only one way to find out. Time will tell. Great job man.

Hmmm...I wouldn't think so. The TV's are fairly light but you're right...only time will tell....

Nice job, WOW! that is cool.

I do wonder how the Liquid Crystal will hold up over time being situated like that.

That looks awesome, would have liked to see a pic of the mounting setup, but the finished product is all that matters!

Very nice job. I have to get a bigger screen when I copy your idea for my bedroom ceiling so I can see my porn videos better... :)

Gman, the pole mount is understandable to me, but in looking at options from Sanus, Snap, Chief... for the TV, I am only finding projector mounts. Is that what you ended up using to attach to the back of the TV??

Here's a product designed to allow the screen to be installed parallel to the floor. It can also rotate to be perpendicular to the floor:

To use a projector mount, you use a mount that has adjustable legs. Usually you adjust the legs on to the mounting holes on the bottom of the projector. But, they can just as easily be adjusted to the mounting holes on the back of a TV or Monitor. If you had a mounting pattern larger than 200mm x 200mm you might have a hard time making the projector mount work.
