I know this is old, but where would you specify a default gateway of your main repeater when you configure network settings?

It looks like it only allows you to set / change the IP address.

You can either set the ip static or use a dhcp reservation to set the ip address of the main repeater automatically, depending on the router that you are using.
Do or Do not, There is no Try.

hopefully all this will be a moot point very soon..........

Version 6.0 enables true remote access to RadioRa2. Previously, you could only access a Lutron RadioRa system remotely if you were on the home network or via VPN. v6.0 enables users to access their system remotely via Lutron’s Home Control+ app.

saw that too, but it would be a ~$20 a year service fee + it's a cloud solution

my guess is RadioRa2 does not have default gateway in its network config, hence can't be accessed via port forwarding

When you go activate the main repeater and you see the ip info you can hit the "SHOW ADVANCED" dialog and you will see the gateway tab.

FYI this does work. I had to port forward on my Netgear router as well as set DMZ to main repeater static IP address. I also had to setup an additional connection in the Home+ app and Essentials software integration section.

I can now run the Home+ app as if i am on my home network and I didn't pay the $59.99 to Lutron.

Eric

EDIT: Anyone can get to the device using the your IP address and port number while using the default lutron/lutron login/password. I would rather this info not be public so I have disabled remote management for now,
