With all the crap I order on a daily basis, I don't think I have ever dealt with so much crap to just get a part. I have a customer that is relocating his TV to another room in the house and will be placing it on a tabletop. He threw the stand away, so we have to order him a new one. I contacted Panasonic and was directed to a parts and accessories webpage that I could order the part from. The page lists parts numbers with a vague description (i.e. STAND) with no images or further descriptions. So I ordered the part, paid with expedited shipping.

Today it arrived. It is JUST the stand. It does not come with the legs, screws or anything. Check and it is the part number I was told by the rep I spoke with. So I call and go online to connect with a live chat rep, since I have never called Panasonic and waited less the 30 minutes. I waited 20 minutes before a live chat rep connected. That in and of itself is absurd. While waiting, I did something I NEVER do and went on eBay and just ordered a new one complete with everything. Finally the chat rep connected and they told me I had to contact the parts and accessories department to process a return. Ugh, so more waiting on the phone. After about 35-40 minutes, a girl who accent is so thick I can barely understand her answers. I explain to her I would like to return the stand and she asks why. I said because I would like to return the stand. She tells me all I have to do is send it back with a copy of my invoice (why couldn't the chat rep tell me that?) I informed her that I was never even sent an invoice. I checked through my email just in case I missed something, and I was correct, no emails sent containing an invoice. I printed the confirmation page when I placed the order, but she said I will need the invoice. She confirms my email address and says they will send another one. It should come in 48 HOURS. WTF, for an email? Seriously? She said just keep looking for it.

I ALWAYS tell me customer to hang on to their stands. Its not like it takes up a ton of room to store somewhere. This is a new customer who already had his TV however. Next time I will inform the customer we don't supply TV stands, not worth the annoyance and headache. Sorry for the rant, just frustrated.

What stand are you looking for.... I have a ton of them I'm about to get rid of.... Maybe one you need.
I'm Not an engineer, but I play one on TV.
My handle is Tweety but I have nothing to do with the organization of similar name. I just had a really big head as a child so folks called me tweety bird.

I might need a stand for my Panasonic 42" commercial plasma... TH-42PH something or other.

Anybody got one? They didn't come in the box with these, and IIRC they were a couple hundred bucks...

another option is to use a universal stand that fits the VESA bolt pattern.

Was considering it, but haven't really tried them and just wanted to go OEM on a larger set. The one I bought on ebay was only like $60 so the guy is just gonna have to wait for it.

I've got some on the shelf. I'm not sure of the color. Your for shipping, I'd just be happy to have one off the shelf and not in the trash

I just unloaded about 30 stands to the shop I use for TV repairs. Mostly Panny.

It's almost hilarious how much they charge for an OEM pedestal/stand. I'd love to be able to order TVs without them and them take even half what they charge for the pedestal off the price.
Who says you can't put 61" plasmas up on cantilever mounts using toggle bolts? <---Thanks Ernie ;)

Hi Tweetymp4,
I know it has been a while... but wondering if you still have the TBL2ax00171.

I have a client who needs to take one off the wall for a rehab on the house... and did not save his original one...

Or if anyone else has one laying around, I'd be happy to take it off your hands!

Hi Golden,
I'm checking the specs on it... I appreciate the offer. Does anyone know offhand if they are compatible? or if in general Panasonic makes it's stands compatible? or if every tv ships with a unique stand.

I'm not sure if they are all compatible. This is the stand I have:

It is brand new. I ordered it for a client and he found his while we were there. I just never sent it back. If you find it's compatible just let me know and its yours.
