I hope someone can help me figure out the obvious I am missing.
- New T4 - IR Only - When open IR Library and test IR codes, the signals are sent correctly
- When download codes into remote - nada - nothing
- Programmed one button with one command - line of sight - no IR system used - nada - nothing

THANKS for any input.

What version of ID? What is the firmware of the T4? Are you sure that you aren't dropping RS232 commands on the buttons? Is the T4 the only remote in the file? Have you checked to make sure the buttons aren't set to inactive in the properties?
Who says you can't put 61" plasmas up on cantilever mounts using toggle bolts? <---Thanks Ernie ;)

Thanks for the response.
Current software are firmware. Had to update firmware on T4 before able to download file.
Buttons are not inactive - just checked again.
IR commands - just checked again.
A real stumbler...

Check the properties of the T4 to make sure it's not set to "override:xxxxx" If that is set to default then open a new ID file and add a T4. Drop a single IR command onto a hard button, upload, and test.

If you want you could send me your file to see if I see anything out of whack.

systemsbham, I can take a look at your file as well.

Do you have a processor in the system??

or are you running this as an IR only remote??
if you have a processor, you need to route the IR from remote commands differently than the processor commands
There's no worse feeling than that millisecond you're sure you are going to die after leaning your chair back a little too far.

No processor. I started with the remote only.

So I just took a look at the file. Every IR code has the box checked to wait for macro to finish in two-way mode. I would say to duplicate the T4 and then go into the properties of the T4 and uncheck the box that says the device has firmware version 2.0 or higher. Then upload and test. I believe that will fix the problem. If it does then all you have to do is go through and uncheck the wait for macro to finish in two-way mode box for all the IR codes. You don't have any two-way set-up and I think that the T4 might be thinking a macro hasn't completed and that's why it's not sending out the IR commands.

I also noticed some other things in your programming that could be improved on. If you want I could walk you through what I see.
