I've been using Queensboro shirt company and they have been great to deal with. I'd like to use someone local, but the last time I compared prices, the local guys were 3x to 4x the cost on the finished goods and wanted a minimum of $50 to digitize the logos which made for a steep opening order.

There is a $2.97 Tshirt offer going on right now with NO charge to digitize your logo which makes for a really cheap, "try it out" order. They also let you mix and match on logo items so you don't have to order a bunch of identical shirts, you can order any size or color in the same group for no extra charge.

I have had an issue with the logo stitching on one shirt. I called and they sent me a new one without any issues.

that is awesome just looking at some companies online. They are only an hour from me!!!! thanks!!

So I guess you buy only books from mom and pop book stores, shop only in local grocery stores and never eat in a chain restaurant?

If this is your argument for buying online and you are selling and installing electronics, then you are an idiot.

I eat at Chilis all the time, even sold and installed a few TVs for the manager at my local one. I absolutely shop at Barnes and Nobles, but only for stuff e smaller shops don't carry, mainly magazines.

Best Buy employees a lot of people in each community the operate in. Amazon does not. Those employees spend their money in their local economy. Your customers earn their money in their local economy,(unless the work at an e-tailer).

Why should a customer buy anything from you, if they could get it for alot less online?

I'm not saying that every small business is worth supporting, there are trunk-slammers in every industry. I'm just saying you should support your local industry because they are the same ones who would support you.

Why the name calling? If opinions are that offensive, you might need to step away from the keyboard for a while.

I've never advocated buying a tshirt from amazon, but they do have a 3-wolf design you might find appealing. Excellent reviews too.

Clients don't buy products from me, they buy a solution that is made up of parts, equipment, programming, labor and expertise. They can't buy that from Amazon so it's not a valid comparison.

The OP wanted options for buying shirts for his business, I've posted a vendor that provides excellent service, pricing and support. If he had a local option that gave him what he needs, he would already be buying from them. But obviously his posting on a internet forum might lead us to believe he's looking outside his normal chain of suppliers.

Paying someone locally, just because they ARE local, is just overspending. I spend locally when it makes sense, but I'm not paying someone 3x more for LESS variety, service or support.

Your clients never buy or try to buy products online? You have never encountered a customer that prices you against Amazon or other online retailers? I understand the reason our clients choose us is because we offer what these online retailers do not. It sounds like you understand this as well.

That aside, I understand that you are receiving great service from this online company. However, the point is that keeping your money in your local economy will boost your economy. I am a amateur photographer. It is a hobby I enjoy. I could purchase my equipment online, and save money but I choose to use a local store that is locally owned, and of course employs local people. I do this because spending a couple extra hundred dollars is not going to kill me, it's not going to put me in the poor house either. What it does do is help support a local business with local employees. I use this as my example only because it is an expensive hobby in which deals can be had online. I honestly didn't always think this way, but once I started my own business and realized how important it is to support my fellow local businesses, I changed my ways. You are free to do what you wish, it is just my opinion that helping your local economy is vitally important.
