I have the IR protocol for the Denon AVR-1912 but do not know how to convert it to the pronto type codes. I have seen programs that allow you to enter in the C1-5, C6-10, etc. but they don't make sense to the protocol. Is there a definitive way to convert the codes properly? I believe they are Sharp and Kasiasko but there is no device number or frequency included...

Any help would be greatly appreciated

There is a link to a pronto hex converter on the denon CI site.

Yes, I downloaded that and the hex pdf for the 1912, but I am not understanding the bit stream as it relates to the program or instructions. For example, what bit stream would I enter into the editor for the Main Power On command? It doesn't seem to coincide with the document, nor are there any values in C1-C5, C6-C11, etc. I know its because I am not sure how to do it.

Wondering if someone could get me started by letting me know what the correct bit stream is for 1 or 2 commands so I get the concept. Just started getting into Denon so forgive my ignorance.

Thanks,
Jimmy
