Hope it works out for you Ed.

Moved to Ft. Lauderdale from Cincinnati in January of 77 during the worst weather (25 below with 27" of snow) they ever had in the area. Drove straight through to Miami where my brother lived at the time.

Moved up to NC in 1984 on a whim....

And this is as far north as I'll ever get again.... :-)

I like that fact that when it snows in the morning, it's generally all gone by noon, and it's not unusual to have golfing weather in January....

I'm in Flo-rida right now and it's perfect weather! Went to the beach today and it was 78 and sunny with a light breeze.

I can't imagine being here in the summer though, 99 with 95 % humidity, I'll stay where I'm at and the 85% humidity lol.
Bill's Electric & Home Theater & Plumbing & Automation & Small Engine Repair, and Animal Removal Services......did I mention we do remotes also?

Ed, I have a brother and sisters who have live in Coco Beach and Tampa. They say that if you can live near the water the heat and humidity is not as bad because of the cool breezes coming off the Atlantic or the Gulf.
I have been to Orlando in July and it was crazy hot and humid.
Good luck and hope things work out for you.

The only thing keeping me in Michigan is my wife.  If she ever decides to divorce me I'll be sending child support payments from 5 states south, or the caribbean.

I hate everything about winter.  And when I say everything, I mean everything.

It's taking every fiber in my being not to swear just explaining how much I hate winter.

Why my family (or any human being) ever came to Michigan is beyond me.

UNLESS you move here with 24 years experience and your not from one of the 4-5 states that they will acknowledge the hours and allow you to take the required tests to get a license that matches your skill set!!

I don't think I want to be an apprentice again for 2 years........

Ignore the naysayers about FL and reciprocity on licensing and stuff. You want to go so go. I lived in Sarasota for 24 years and made a great living down there. As soon as my daughter starts college I am moving back there even if I have to make straw hats on the beach.

AZ is awesome. I lived in Chicago all my life (31 years) and moved out to AZ last December. Summers aren't that bad and when you can where shorts in December it makes a couple of hot days worth it.

Hi,
I'm in Fort Myers and looking for some help with installs. Let's figure out how we can talk about what is down here.
