apple tv 2 is awesome.
would not sell them an apple tv 1.

apple is not updating the apple tv 1 anymore.

apple tv 2 has netflix, airplay mirroring (see your iPad or iPhones screen on your tv), mlb, nba, nhl, vimeo, etc.

no reason to give them apple tv 1.

that hdmi-component adapter looks great.

And possibly best new feature of 2011 - Music Match

Don't you lose storage capability when you go to the new one?

Oh, I got it. Not stereo.

Quad?
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

Sure do. But you really don't need it anymore as long as...wait for it......your LAN is solid if you want to stream internally or you have a good internet bandwidth for using iTunes Match. For 25 per year they store all of your purchased music content in the cloud (stated limit is 25,000 songs) and then it's available on your device when connected to the internet.

I've used this exact piece and know others who have used it literally dozens of times with no issues. It's probably the best bang for the buck in this category. The HD Fury works well too but is significantly higher priced. I think you're paying for the name as much as anything else.

Can anyone confirm this pieces does indeed work OK on an AppleTV3?

Can anyone confirm that the HDFury III or HDFury IV also works OK on the ATV3?

Thanks in advance

It looks like one feature the HDF III has over this Amazon piece is the ability to shift the image horizontally a bit. Some people have reported the image being shifted to one side a bit with the Amazon piece?

HDFury works great on all the ATVs. I haven't found anything that the HDFury didn't work with.
Who says you can't put 61" plasmas up on cantilever mounts using toggle bolts? <---Thanks Ernie ;)

I've just ordered an HD Fury III so I'll post back in a few weeks on how it works with an ATV3.

I'm also considering ordering one of those CT adapters for testing as they are much easier to procure (and much less$). Did someone post here that the Amazon piece is the same as the CT piece? it sure looks like the same piece.
