mx-800 forced reset

on site now, and need to do a "Factory Hard Reset" The software wont talk to the remote. Uploaded with MX-700 accidentally and adjusted and downloaded w/700 software now the remote when batteries are pulled go through the normal startup with "good" at each section. but screen comes up blank, there is a factory reset process that tech support gave me years ago about doing a forced reset and getting back to out of box default programming. Cannot communitcate into the remote any more.

Please help need assistance Now thank you

press and hold STOP & MAIN together, then confirm you want to reset it.

finally able to get things to reset using the Enter lower right, stop and main after battery pull and replace.

able to program again so I am all set now,
