I just got approved as a Sonus Dealer and am getting familiar with it anyhow I am doing a couple bids and I need to run some decent outdoor speakers on a zone basically 8" woofer 3 way but as outdoors is you need a little volume so I don't want them to be whattage starved. Will a 120 do it does it have enough balls to drive some base and good speakers or is there a way to attach an external amp with a 12v trigger to automatically power up the amp and use that with a 90?

What will the 120 drive well I assume a standard set of 8" in walls should not be an issue.

A nice pair of speakers on a 120 will sound good but will not blow you away. If they want some power throw in a ZP90 and an amp with audio sensing such as...

Then you'll get some more punch and fill a much larger area with sound. I generally use that with some KEF's or Sonance and have great results.

If you need an easily accessible line, probably Niles. Something like...

They also have a stereo 75w version, if you're going with 8 ohm speakers.

Keep them out of racks. Keep them away from routers. Centralize if possible. Learn how to run diagnostics so you can tweak settings such as wireless router channels, locations, etc. Use NAS drives instead of streaming directly from PC. Apps are great, but the SONOS controller is the best experience.

The last job I did it was in the rack right beside the router, expected to have to move it. not one single issue. couldnt believe it.

Had to get it done and fast for parade of home show, then was to move it. Doesnt look like I am going to have to do that.

Does it affect the router or does the router affect the sonos?

Sonos runs on the same frequency as 802.11 wireless, same rules apply as with using multiple WAP's or interference from other WAP's
