I can tell you whatever you do, Don't use Inca. Electrokinetics is a better company but I was unaware that they made a flip down. You may have an issue finding something that large but more importantly leaving such a big space unsupported above. The ones I have used need all of a 12" space. This is not to mention the weight of the unit. The last one we used for a 47" display was over 500lbs...

+1 Inca is garbage. I put an Inca ceiling mount into a house and one into a big boat. The boat failed within 2yrs. The house one lasted a little longer, 3 1/2yrs, but it started making a horrible noise after a year. Both had 40" LCD's on them.

Who says you can't put 61" plasmas up on cantilever mounts using toggle bolts? <---Thanks Ernie ;) |

Auton will make it as well. Give Joe a call. Their stuff is built to stop trains. I cant speak for the others, but Auton also sounds like a train. NOISY!

Don't read my answer. Someone else will go into great detail as to why I am wrong rather than answer the original question... |

Look at how huge and open and hard surfaced the room is. also look at how solid and accurate the lift is allowing for a nearly microscopic fitting. [Link: facebook.com]

I recall a few Auton lifts I've used in the past were a little noisey - maybe they are quieter these days?

This was done about 3 years ago, and the client told us she could put the TV up while her husband slept. We have another Auton pop up and rotate lift in another bedroom, which is also very quiet. [IMG] [/IMG]
