Hmm that doesn't help much. Male or Female artist? Was it an actual country artist or someone acting like one? Do you know the chorus or any of the lyrics?
Who says you can't put 61" plasmas up on cantilever mounts using toggle bolts? <---Thanks Ernie ;)

The last verse of "You Never Even Called Me By My Name"?

Well, I was drunk when my mama got out of prison
And I went to pick her up in the rain
But before I could get to the station in my pickup truck
She got runned over by a damned old train.

I will say I had it at reading the thread's title.

I requested this at a party last weekend.

They also played this at Disney World at the dueling piano bar. That one cost me $50 that the Billy Joel wannabes didn't know it.

It thought the mane of the song is "You Don't Have to Call me Darlin'" ?

And yes D.A.C. wrote and performed it. He is one strange ranger.
Chasing Ernie's post count, one useless post at a time.

Might not be what you are looking for, but Rascal Flats wrote a song about what happens when you play a country song backwards. You get your dog back, your wife back.......you get the picture.

"You never even call me by my name", is the name of the song.

Yes DAC is known for singing this song but... Steve Goodman wrote it. I insist that he get credit. For those of you youngins who don't know Steve Goodman, I suggest you look his music up. Hell he wrote a bunch of the early Jimmy Buffet song book.

For extra credit, how many of you have a copy of the DAC white album? Now that is some crasy sh*t.

Most people should at least know the Steve Goodman song Arlo Guthrie recorded ('City of New Orleans') but Steve Goodman never got a lot of notice unless people read the liner notes or writer's name on the label.
