I'm out in Delaware and I felt this for a good almost 10 seconds. Anyone else feel it? NOAA has the epicenter down near Richmond, VA.
Who says you can't put 61" plasmas up on cantilever mounts using toggle bolts? <---Thanks Ernie ;)

Colorado had 5.3 and a bunch of smaller aftershocks, this VA one is a 5.9. I wonder if we'll be getting an aftershocks. I bet the Cali people are laughing at us for having news coverage this thick over a 5.9.

Wow felt it in Ohio too. That's crazy. The USGS says that a 5.5 earthquake on the east coast can be felt as far away as 300 miles from the center.

We felt it in Lancaster, PA pretty good and friends of ours say they felt it in Albany, NY and Toronto. Those of us not used to earthquakes weren't quite sure what happened at first.

Not really, California covers a 1/4" of rain like it is the end of the world, a 5.9 is a pretty decent shaker and can knock down masonary buildings built before earthquake codes.

I think what made it worse was the thoughts going through peoples heads on this side of the world especially after going through 9/11. The weather here bore a very eerie resemblance to the weather that was on 9/11. As things tarted to shake my first thought was oh god not again... Thankful that nobody was hurt and there was no damage to peoples homes and structures..

You were talking about the quake.

He was talking about the shades.
