I have a customer waiting for the new Pioneer Elite 70". I was going to use a 65" Sony but they wanted bigger!. I know the new 70" Pioneer is around $9k cost, quite a bit different than the 65" Sony! What else is out there? They prefer lcd/led, but if a great plasma was available, they may rethink led/ lcd. 3D hasn't been brought up but I can see the writing on the wall, they'll want it once it's all said and done with the upgrade!! I'm pulling out a Fujitsu 50" or 55" (can't remember size) that's about 6 years old if that even matters?

I think Pioneer Elite 70" is around 7k. Very impressive panel, but not comparable to Panny Premier. Panny is only 65" and active 3D Plasma.

60" Elites started being delivered today. 70's may start shipping this week. You owe it to yourself to take a look - really! And I'm a diehard Kuro fanboy.

Here's the website. Seems pretty devoid of either Sharp or Pioneer branding except in the fine print. Just branded as "Elite". elitelcdtv.com/
