is there someone specific i should be contacting for support?
a guy thats familiar with CI's ...

we control Onkyo's via IP (509 and up),
once in a while the receiver won't respond to IP control.

i have to truckroll, reset receiver (press VCR + STANDBY together),
that clears some settings. then i have to go in to settings, re-enable network control and it works again.

we set them up with static ip address's ,
change the port to 60000 (the default in crestrons integra module),
and turn network control on ....

we always update to the latest firmware...

it would not be such an issue if i can reset it remotely and update the settings,
but the web front end for these receivers is extremely limited.

is there a more advanced web front end for these hidden somewhere?

thanks in advance.

We use Integra. Never an issue here. We do them static IP and never an issue. I also remember something at the last Integra training about remotely logging into the units but I paid little attention. I instead looked at my installer and asked "You got that?" He replied yes and we went on about things. If the unit was knocked "offline" I would think logging in would be difficult.

the thing is they arent knocked offline.
i can still access them via web admin.

maybe its because we are setting them to ports 60000?

i also noticed there is a Connect command.
do i need to use that? i never thought about it since the module always connected to the onkyo… but after a few weeks i have to reset them sometimes.

in this home, over the past 1.5 months, its happened to 2 out of the 3 receivers.
but it hasnt happened at all to the 3rd receiver (yet).

The "connect" command really doesn't do what it should in that module.

Are you managing you TCP/IP Client connection or just enabling the "Connect" with a 1? You really should manage all TCP/IP Client connections. I have seen the same issue of losing ability to communicate via TCP with Integra gear. Managing the connection fixed the problem for me.
