Anyone used it? What's your impressions?

I've got a client with 5 collage keypads. The touch faceplate is held on by retaining clips that snap to the unit. He is having problems with the plastic retaining clip adhesive seperating from the faceplate. The faceplate ends up protruding from the trim ring and the led lights shine through the sides.

I contacted Russound about it, they stated it was a known problem and that they would send me replacements where the issue had been fixed.

Wouldn't ya know it, the replacements are doing the exact same thing.

Gorilla Glue Epoxy is your best friend.
I may be schizophrenic, but at least I have each other.

A lot of times this problem is exacerbated by an uneven wall.

Seems like the sheet rock joint is quite often located near the same level as the keypad, and that makes for an issue.

Maybe a dab of adhesive silicon caulk would work?

If not:

A very, very, tiny drop of superglue might hold the cover in position and still allow it to be removed at a future date if need be... And I do mean a VERY TINY drop...

Or a couple of layers of really sticky double backed carpet tape...

What about a hot glue gun?
