Yup, the title says it all. I don't want to contact Netstreams directly because I'm trying to do something they won't like (purchase product outside of their dealer agreement, or whatever) and I'm looking for a cohort.

But I'll bet that's not it, really. Why not contact Netstreams? You posted this early enough in the day to get through. If their customer service is nonexistent, they deserve to have you tell us that.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

Now now Ernie, don't assume the worst. Maybe he wants to know just how terrible we are now after the ClearOne acquisition. :)

Buzz,
I hope you sent him a PM so you could answer his questions. I always wonder why people don't contact the manufacturer, but crummy customer service is one reason. I've been familiar enough with you, Buzz, not to expect bad service, so ? ? ?

Ernie,
I'm guessing you've never needed a $150 part for a system and didn't want to pay the 4k buy in for it.
Have you never cleaned up a rack and found out something you touched but do not carry no longer works?
Have you ever been a dealer for a company whom you either no longer support for any of a number of reasons and need to upgrade or replace something in your clients system?

I have a lot of friends who have found themselves in that position. Many of them on this board. I have been in this position many times myself and I am thankful for the relationships I have in the industry.
We all know Steven and he's helped many of us with our own problems so why not cut the guy some slack and help him if you can rather than jumping on a friend because someone pissed in your wheaties.

Buzz, being that you are a respected part of our community and directly connected to Netstreams I hope you pick up the phone and help in any way you can.

Maybe he is on vacation and simply needs somebody to take over a project, or do an emergency service call for him

I once recall you saving my ass at x-mass time for a lighting system. It actually comes in handy...

I am technically on vacation and trying to keep my promise to myself and my family to stay off the phone.
And only saw this as it popped up as a Google alert.

Yup, I've done all of those things. The complete lack of detail made me wonder, that's all.
