We've got a half dozen ZC-8's going into a job next week. Any tips on how to label this 'professionally'?

That is awesome! Saving that site...
For this I was looking for more of a perfectly sized and aligned label. I could draw up a template on the computer but I'd need to find a label to print it on that wouldn't look like a hack job.

Great site but, I've had similar results using my local trophy shop.
It never hurts to have a good relationship with your local engraver.
I would be interested in seeing the price sheet for automationink.com

I keep pointing my remote at the turntable but, it never advances to the next track. |

Is the small print on your label maker small enough?
Back in the eighties I occasionally watched our ad guys assembling ads where they'd carefully cut out a bit of text, put glue on the back, and, using some really nice tweezers, they'd place the text where it needed to be. If you learn a repetitive technique, it's not hard to get them straight and correctly placed.

We usually have our custom panle/plate supplier make a full custom faceplate labelled how we want - just have to be sure of what you are calling things.

I hope it looks better in real life than that photo. How about getting a 'nice' plate laser cut and engraved.

Wireless speakers? Of course Sir. Choose the colour and size you like. As you don't seem to think sound quality is important, I will not plug them in. |

Oh, and please straighten up the slots of the cover screws (pet peeve of mine) so they are either horizontal or vertical. Having an entirely new plate would be ideal because this one is fugly. Perhaps it's not in the budget, though. I have no idea how much something like that would cost.

Hey now, they're $99 keypads. And it's commercial work. :)

Well then, in that case why don't you just label them with a Sharpie and be done with it? Because the keypad by itself looks 'fine' and I don't want handwritten scribbles on it? The functionality is fine, the aesthetics are fine. (the obvious bad joke here would be "and the Sharpie is fine (tipped)" ) 3 of these keypads are in a closet, 2 are tucked away on the back side of support columns, and one is in a gym.

I found their advertisements at a local distributor that you all know the name of. I haven't used them yet, but my boss and I were planning on sending them an RKM1 so they can make custom silk screens for different sources like ATV and such. Haven't had the need or chance yet, though. Their work looked great on the advertisement though, particularly on an RK1-8 with Sirius channel logos. Their pricing is extremely affordable. If you call them they provide quotes quickly. I haven't tried it on mine, but maybe you could try the Rhino software. I know it comes with the 6000 label printer hard case kit! May be worth looking into.
