Anyone have any experience using the Mirage MS-2 for movies? Music streaming is great, but I am fine with SONOS for that - I am looking for a server to stream movies at th MS-2 price point.

Also, with only 500GB of storage that is hardly enough to store good video, anyone using anything in tandem with the MS-2 for movie streaming? If so I would be interested in knowing how the response is, if there are delays, hiccups, etc.

Thanks

I don't believe any of their products are capable of streaming video. They have an HDMI for on-screen display. If it did stream video, it would be a homerun!

I've tried using ATV's to stream HD video over my network and the hardware/software cannot handle that much data so you end up with lip sync and delay issues. I bought a Popcorn Hour C200 a little while ago and have had good luck. The interface is pretty good and it pulls movie data from IMDB. Menu navagation is crappy if you go away from the video wall. I have 1TB hard drive and it's filling up fast! I'm looking to setup a some sort of RAID configuration with at least 6-8TBs of space.
